NMW Riding Academy jumping and cross country success at clinics and shows

NMW Riding Academy will hold their first camp of the season this week from 4th to 7th June where riders can take part in flatwork, arena eventing, cross country and jumping sessions from 40cms upwards with three leading instructors.

FBHS Sam York, Aberdeen-based jumping instructor Jen Morris and BE specialist instructor Richard Johnston-Smith will teach riders over the age of 13 years who will be able to bring their own horse or hire one from the riding school to take part.

Training at Auchlishie Eventing

THREE riders from NMW travelled to Auchlishie Eventing, Angus, to attend an eventing course with Richard Johnston-Smith.

Showjumping results

NMW held the second event of their showjumping league during May, following on from the Easter showjumping,with a showjumping evening at Keithall, Inverurie. The next jumping event in the NMW league will be an arena event on 19th June.

The results of the showjumping evening are:

30cm: 1st Ailda Little (Oreo), 2nd Ferne Eadie (Garry), 3rd Sarah Burns (William), 4th Maia McGhee (Buttercup).

40cm: 1st Ellie Cruickshank (Comet), 2nd Emily Simpson (Bear), 3rd Izzy Cooper (Montgomery), 4th Kaitlyn Robson (Montgomery), 5th Ferne Eadie (Oreo), 6th Evie Moar (Comet).

50cm: 1st Emily Simpson (Bear), 2nd Kaitlyn Robson (Garry), 3rd Neave Chapman (Summer), 4th Skylar Evans (Willow), 5th Emma Dickson (Jimmy), 6th Ellie Cruickshank (Comet).

60cm: 1st Arianna Cooper (Charlie), 2nd Elise Clement (Jimmy), 3rd Sadie Ballantyne (Honey), 4th Lauchlan Milne (Oakley), 5th Indi Umuh (Garry), 6th Kylie Marie Few (Noah).
