Hayfield has a busy start to the year with quiz teams and exam training

HAYFIELD students were preparing for Stage 4 exams during February. They spent time in classes looking at different types of shoes for Stage 4 and taking apart and putting together a double bridle for the Side Saddle Association exams.

Beginner group riding lesson start dates at the centre have been announced for young riders aged 11 year and under. They are held on Tuesdays at 4.30pm from 14th April, on Wednesdays at 5.30pm from 15th April, on Saturdays at 11am from 18th April and on Sundays at 3pm from 19th April.
Hayfield are looking for quiz team members under the age of 10 to take part in their mini team for the Pony Club area quiz on 1st March. A great team-building exercise, children who wish to take part should get their parents to contact Hayfield.
A polework clinic with Lorna McLean for riders aged 16 years and over will be held on 1st March from 10am to 12pm.
The winner of the Hayfield Valentine’s Day competition, who receives a voucher for a lesson at the centre, was Reagan Bruce.

Easter Camp Dates
Hayfield’s Easter pony care camps will be held in March and April. Riders can develop their equestrian skills and have a daily lesson using the Pony Club’s progressive test route.
The camps are held on 30th March (Gold camp), 31st March (Bronze camp) and 6th April (Silver camp). Join Rannoch (above) for some intensive training.
